Three components to maintaining a healthy and strong body

Three components to maintaining a healthy and strong bodyThere are three key elements to a healthy lifestyle that should be incorporated into your fitness program. As we age, these become even more important in our daily lives. These are balance, flexibility and strength, which is why they are so important!

Balance:
Balance is a key element of all the movements ... just to walk in the steps, to practice sports, squatting to pick up something. It is essential for daily life and normal activity. Yet the CDC indicates that accidental falls are the leading cause of death and injury among the elderly, affecting over one-third of older people in the US each year. As we age, physical inactivity lead to less stability and balance by doing simple things such as walking, reaching, squatting, etc. challenges we all face. People (maybe you!) We often joke about all these things that can no longer do because of these little "pains" that come with age!

Flexibility:
Here I am referring to the ability to enjoy the full range of motion through all the joints of your body. Today, people are affected by poor posture and lack of flexibility, perhaps because many are limited to jobs where they sit all day ... and then watch TV all night! Joints become stiff, tight muscles ... neck still hurts ... pain ... imbalances and muscles and joints and injuries are the result! And the cycle just continues and gets worse as we age and become increasingly inflexible.

Strength:
When muscles are not used, and as we age, begin to atrophy or deteriorate ... oh yes, and then things begin to give! Strength training is how to keep the muscles look and act younger! The result is improved energy, muscle function, strength, tone the body, increase metabolism, suppressing appetite, stronger bones, ligaments and tendons ... I could go on and again! The conclusion is that strength training is a great advantage for those who want to improve their fitness level! The results of aging and a sedentary lifestyle have a huge toll on our bodies if we just allow that, by doing nothing! I firmly believe that the quality of life that can be enjoyed largely depends on us and how we are willing to take responsibility for our health and fitness! So how do you combine all this into a complete fitness program that results in a better YOU? Enable !! Start today !! Do something! Do something! The key is to find a physical activity you enjoy and you follow! A personal trainer that integrates these key elements in an integrated program is also an excellent alternative !!

Remember ... we adapt ... is a happier, healthier your life!
Stay fit !!!
